Arrive at the mountain base. Meet your licensed local guide, receive flashlights and trekking poles, and enjoy a light breakfast with fresh banana pancakes, Balinese coffee, or hot tea.
04:00 — Ascent to Mount Batur Summit
Begin the hike up Mount Batur (1,717 m). Several comfortable rest stops are taken along scenic trails under a starry sky.
06:00 – 07:15 — Golden Sunrise at the Crater Rim
Reach the summit peak just as the horizon turns crimson and gold over Mount Abang, Mount Agung, and Lake Batur. Savor breakfast cooked by volcanic steam (boiled eggs & toast) and hot drinks.
07:30 — Volcanic Fissures & Caldera Rim Walk
Explore the volcanic steam vents and meet the friendly mountain monkeys while enjoying 360-degree panoramic crater views.
09:00 — Descent & Natural Geothermal Hot Springs
Arrive back at base camp and head to Toya Devasya or Batur Natural Hot Springs to soak your muscles in mineral-rich heated waters overlooking Lake Batur.
11:00 – 12:30 — Balinese Coffee Tasting & Return Transfer
Stop at a traditional local spice & coffee plantation in Temen to taste famous Luwak coffee and herbal teas before returning comfortably to your hotel.

The total trekking time is approx. 4 to 5 hours round trip (moderate fitness required).
